Have you ever wondered which is the largest tree in the world? I have, and I came across this beauty. This is the General Sherman tree, the largest tree in the United States and it stands at about 275 feet tall and 36 feet wide at the base. This tree can be found at the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park in California.

This is the second largest tree in the United States and it’s called the General Grant Tree . It stands about 267 feet tall and 29 feet wide at the base. Just like the General Sherman Tree, this tree can also be found at the Sequoia & Kings Canyons National Park in California. The General Grant Tree is celebrated each year as the nation’s Christmas tree. In 1956 President Eisenhower declare this tree a National Shrine.
